MedGuardian™ automated medication dispenser has a timed-alarm system that delivers the next dose of a patient’s medicine automatically. MedGuardian™ holds up to 7 days of 4 times a day dosing.

An audible alarm alerts patient that it is time for medication and beeps for 5 seconds and off 1 second continuously until patient activates the off position by opening the medication door. Only the most recent dose is available. If patient misses a dose, there is no double dose.

The built-in wireless transmitter model allows for monitoring of medication compliance at a remote location by website and telephone and/or email notification. There is a monthly monitoring service fee for 24/7 monitoring/notification by our professional monitoring center. Subscription details will be included with purchase.

Simply plug the MedGuardian™ into the AC outlet and phone line (or your LifeGuardianPro Medical Alarm System) and follow the simple instructions to set-up & program your MedGuardian medication dispenser.

For non-compliance, you can also designate up to a total of 3 phone numbers and/or email addresses to be notified with an alert. You will also be notified if the unit is experiencing a malfunction or jam or if there has been an extended power outage.

Extra-large LED display is easily viewed from any angle and is self-illuminating so it can be seen in any light. Setting the timers and alarms is as easy as setting a digital alarm clock. For flashing light versions, see smaller photo above for position of light.

Key-only access enables caregivers to load MedGuardian™ and monitor patient compliance. Removable trays permit off-site loading by licensed personnel or family members.

MedGuardian™ switches automatically to included rechargeable batteries for short-term travel and in case of a power failure. Battery back-up is for 72 hours.

MedGuardian™ is for use with pills only; do not use for Nitroglycerine, liquids, and powders.

1) MedGuardian™ is best used as a plug-in unit and should not be purchased if you are looking for a simple battery-operated electronic pills box.

2) We do not recommend purchase of this item as a gift. Gift recipients often feel it is too complicated for their needs and do not want to use it.

3) This is not a pocket size item. It is 10.25" in diameter which means it is about the width of a dinner plate. Many clients do not realize how big it is!

4) This model is designed and pre-programmed to work wirelessly only with a LifeGuardianPro Medical Alarm System.

5) Due hygene concerns, this item is not returnable for a refund. Defective units can be exchanged-only during the first 30 days.
